Bern, thank you for the singing breath of your expansive comment. You have brought so much inspired wisdom and a deep reminder of our connected and ever-connecting magnificence.

As the light lengthens with each new day, I will carry the gift of your words, "May we embrace the seasons and notice them in each Moment no matter the time of year. Everything truly happens Now."

Thank you again, Bern.

I love the image of birds singing to gently persuade the plants to come out of their shells to unfold their magnificence and beauty to the world where those who also pay attention to their beauty will be coaxed into flowering where vibrant sensations will be transmitted like satellite dishes into the atmospheres of infinite universes where each dimension touches and caresses the other.

Perhaps the tree buds speak also with the birds causing them to burst out in song. Each connects to the other and uplifts their character to express themselves brand new and in a completely new way that stretches the imagination and provides avenues of new exploration into worlds that are created with every new breath we take.

We are truly responsible for all that we encounter and experience in life whether we are aware of this universal law or not. If such an awakening dawns upon us, we become the writers, the directors, and the producers, and the staring actors of our own personal productions.

Ray, good morning Japan time - thank you for visiting again on this rainy day in the mountains. Yes, you phrased it perfectly - "the need to believe in ourselves and to couple inspiration with actions."

Hope you have a day shining as brilliantly as your own splendor inspires you!

Hello Catrien,

I offer a tiny ripple...

I don't know if I will ever be able to unabashedly flaunt my talents as "spring flowers flaunt their splendor," but your phrasing paints a vivid picture. I take from it the need to believe in ourselves and to couple inspiration with actions to obtain results that shine as brilliantly as your spended flowers.

Barbara, thank you again for visiting with spring news from Montreal. My sister is there now, filming, and she, too appreciates the welcome weather.

Was the garden you visited in Hiroshima, Kairakuen? Some three thousand plum trees burst into bloom there in February.

Yes, the sakura - cherry - is blooming now in Japan. The edible cherry in my garden is already in flower. And the front of the flowering as it moves north is eagerly awaited as region after region prepares to celebrate its annual cherry blossom festival.

Warm spring greetings to you, your cats, and the first crocuses.

You mentioned somewhere above that the plum trees (umeki) are the first to blossom in Japan. I remember visiting a public garden in downtown Hiroshima to see the pink and white blossoms on the plum trees there in February. The sakura should be blooming somewhere in Japan by now. I remember how the news broadcast the front of the flowering as it moved north.

I saw crocuses poking their buds out on Saturday in the heart of downtown and my cats have been much livelier of late. We are having an early and slow spring this year in Montreal and it is most welcome.
