Earlier today, I fed some pigeons outside my office window and whilst I secretly watched them, it was fascinating to see them dancing around, chomping away at my bread crumbs and being completely present in that moment.

And Sibyl already said so insightful. Bird song has touched me since a child. And even when I can feel lost in the layers of stone and concrete the delicate and strong song of a tiny sparrow can burst the imaginery bubble of isolation. I too have held a bird in my hands...when I was a child trying to save from our cat..so light...so delicate and so resilient, resourceful, joyful and strong. Which brings to me to the wonderful writings of Shambhala by Chogyam Trungpa ~ the tender heart of the warrior... Wow…so profound..touching…moving…I reasonated so much with what you said.
